If The Vibe in Your Home is Off, What Can You Do?

November 27, 2020

How Your Home Can Impact Your Mood | Style & Life by Susana

“The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.”

If you’ve noticed that the vibe in your home feels off lately, you might be trying to come up with ways that you can fix this. There are some simple solutions to make your home feel better, you’ve just got to know what they are and how to execute them.

In this article, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the ways that you can fix it if there is something off with the vibe in your home. Keep reading if you would like to find out more.

Move The Furniture Around

First, have you thought about moving the furniture around? If you are someone who believes that the way things are arranged has a bearing on how the home feels, then this might be the first step for you to take.

We don’t recommend trying to move heavy furniture on your own, so make sure someone is with you before you start moving things around, getting injured is the last thing that you need.

You can look up a guide online that will tell you the best way to have your furniture for positive vibes if you’re not sure how to do this. This should help bring a fresh feel to the home and ensure that your vibes become more positive.

Get Rid of Negative Energy

The next thing that you should think about is getting rid of any negative energy. Now, the best way to do this is to go through your home room by room and look at all the items you own.

If for any reason, there is anything that brings back negative memories or you have negative feelings towards, then it’s time to get rid of it.

If you don’t want to throw the items out completely, then we recommend looking into a secure storage facility to store your items. This way, you have access to them if you ever want them again, but they are out of the home, and you can see if this is an improvement.

Another thing you can do also is grab some white sage to clear out the bad energy (make sure to buy either California White Sage or White Sage Smudge Stick). You can buy them holistic shops and even from eBay.

Now, before you light up your white sage make sure to open up the doors and/or windows so that the unwanted energy you’re trying to clear (get rid of) has a pathway to get out.

When you’re ready, light your sage, make sure to grab the sage as far from the end you are burning as possible. Hold it at least at a 45-degree angle, light it, let it burn for about 15 seconds & then gently blow out the flame so that you see the orange embers on the other end. Then you are ready to clearing out that negative energy from your home.

Wave it around in circles, high in the air, going from one corner to the other corner in each room of your home. Once every room in your home has been saged, you will or should notice or feel the difference. A lightness in your home. I try to white sage my home (and office at work) at least once every 2 – 3 months.

Make It More Personal

Finally, the last thing that we’re going to suggest is that you try to make your home more personal. It might just be that it is lacking a personal touch from you, which is why it doesn’t feel quite right.

Add some personal effects to the home, such as pictures of friends and family so that when you walk through your space, it feels like yours.

It’s always nice to see the people you love on a daily basis, and it gives the home a comfortable, homey vibe to it. Without personal touches, your home is likely going to feel a bit boring and kind of like nobody lives there, which isn’t what you want.

I hope that you have found this article helpful and now see some of the things that you can try if the vibe in your home is off. Hopefully, these suggestions work for you, and your home starts to feel better in no time! Good luck!

This product has replaced my rosehip oil in my nig This product has replaced my rosehip oil in my nightly routine. I absolutely love it!! It’s like a super charged oil serum that is so rich & luxurious to apply. A small amount goes a long way. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone who is looking for an ‘all in one’ nightly serum. It's a game changer ❤️ @thinlizzybeauty #tlsquad #newobsession #skincareblogger #skincarejunkie #skincareessentials #skincareroutine #thinlizzy #gifted #prgifted
#flashback | This was one of my very favourite pho #flashback | This was one of my very favourite photoshoots I did with @tullylovesaphoto. I felt free, confident, sexy, strong & I had belief in myself that I could be just as good as any top influencer/blogger. But a year after that photo session, my ongoing battle with severe anxiety became excruciatingly worse over time. I lost all belief, my self confidence disappeared, I started to hate the way I looked & I started to hide from friends, family & the world... to be honest I felt like walking away & giving up my blog and IG; I thought no one would care & I'm not good at what I do anyway... but I stayed. It's been a long journey to get back. I'm not completely there 100% but I am making slow baby steps. I take each day as it comes. Some days are good & I think, "the Queen is back!" but then something can trigger me & I am back to panicking, hyperventilating, negative thoughts, and just wanting to hide. The difference this time is I don't want to walk away. I want to come back & do/show what I love. And that is fashion, skincare, photoshoots, striking a pose ha-ha!! doing my car karaoke sessions, and so much more- just being me. I hope you all can be patient, and stay with me. A butterfly is re-emerging 🦋 #butterfly #mentalhealthsupport #anxietysucks
